It has been rather lovely to become established as the photographer for this festival, and I have been there for all five years so far.
The festival spirit is still going strong, famous faces are participating now, but it is the loyal ‘Independent Company’ that makes the show. Fireside chats, warbird air displays, and things that go ‘bang! add to the atmosphere and provided endless photographic opportunities.
I have delivered over 3,000 edited photographs so far for the festival, some of which have ended up on billboards in Leicester Square, but perhaps the important ones are for the IC members, capturing memories of special moments.
