Photographing Kate and Phil with their wonderful horses at Shuttleworth was a genuinely relaxed and rewarding experience, set against a backdrop of a classic English airfield steeped in history and atmosphere.
The connection between horse and rider brought a natural warmth to the images, with unforced moments that reflected both trust and character. Kate’s own background added an extra layer of depth to the shoot; as a published author specialising in Second World War clandestine operations, her appreciation for history and storytelling subtly informed the way she carried herself in front of the camera.
